Christopher has spent over 18 years in the investment management industry. He has been involved in security research, portfolio construction consulting, investment product sales and portfolio management.
Prior to co-founding CataMetrics Management, Christopher was the Chief Investment Officer of US Wealth Management, a registered investment adviser serving the high-net-worth marketplace. In his CIO role he designed and developed multiple client-centered, risk-managed investment strategies. Additionally, he founded the CIO Roundtable, which consisted of CIOs across the country interested in networking with peers to discuss portfolio design and asset allocation challenges. Through his participation on the CIO Roundtable, along with his work directly with investment advisers and their retail clients, he saw first-hand the challenge of communicating important but complex investment concepts to retail clients. With the goal of helping advisers more confidently and effectively engage with clients and prospects, Christopher has developed innovative, multi-media sales tools to support the investment adviser clients of CataMetrics Management.
Prior to serving as the Chief Investment Officer for US Wealth Management, Christopher was a Regional Director and Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. As Regional Director he consulted with registered investment advisers throughout the northeast region on how to modify their portfolio construction methodology with the goal of increasing the probabilities of achieving client desired outcomes. Christopher has a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Additionally, he is a member of the CFA Institute and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
